Actors are known to go to extreme lengths while shooting for their movies or dramas. Whether it be doing their own stunts or getting emotionally involved with the script, it is bound to take a toll on their mental and physical health. Janhvi Kapoor, who is all set to entertain the audience with her upcoming survival thriller Mili, went through a similar experience.

The story of the movie focuses on a girl trying to survive after she gets trapped in a freezer for hours while her father and boyfriend try to find her. During a recent press conference in Delhi, Janhvi opened up about her experience of shooting the film. She revealed that the movie took a toll on her mental health and gave her nightmares. She also shared that she and the director, Mathukutty Xavier, had fallen ill from spending so much time in the freezer. ALSO READ: VIRAL! She said, "I remember it (film) taking a genuine toll on my mental health because I would come back home after wrapping up the shoot and I would go to sleep and dream that I was still in the freezer. I fell ill and I was on severe painkillers for two-three days and even the director was unwell."

The 25-year-old actress shared that a special freezer was built by the team and they shot the movie in 20 days at a -15-degree Celsius temperature. She further said that spending around 15 hours in a closed environment and crying for the majority of the time is not glamorous at all. She said, "If you spend 15 hours of your day in a freezer in a closed environment crying for the majority of the day, sometimes with a rat that keeps nibbling your fingers, it is not glamorous for sure." ALSO READ: Really? The Dhadak actress also shared that the director had asked her to gain weight for the film so that the character is more relatable to the audience. The movie is said to be based on true events. It is the Hindi remake of Xavier’s Malayalam movie Helen, which was released in 2019. The movie is all set to be released on November 4. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the movie also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles.
